In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
